One of the greatest things about living in Northwest Arkansas is the vast source of philanthropic organizations right here in our back yard. We are blessed with people in this region who give sacrificially to serve the needs of others. It’s with gratitude & humility that we present you this special issue devoted to spotlighting just a handful of these amazing non-profit agencies. The work they do is often unrecognized, exhausting & heart-wrenching. All we can say is ‘thank you’. Thank you for the difference you make in the lives of the people you serve & for the impact you are making on this community.

As Martin Luther King, Jr. said, “Everybody can be great…because anybody can serve. You don’t have to have a college degree to serve. You don’t have to make your subject and verb agree to serve. You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love.”
